Further details of Princess Madeleine of Sweden’s wedding revealed
With a little more than a month to go before Princess Madeleine of Sweden marries her financier love Chris O’Neill, serious preparations have begun to make the ceremony the royal wedding of the year. Taking place on 8 June, the wedding will see Crown Princess Victoria’s sister wed her London-born beau at the Royal Palace Chapel in downtown Stockholm. Welcoming their royal guests at a private gala dinner on 7 June at the capital city’s Grand Hotel, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia will host the attendees. Although the final guest list for the event has not yet been revealed, it has been confirmed that Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex will be attending the ceremony on behalf of the British royal family.
We will keep you updated with more on this event in due time.
Some of the biggest names in Hollywood are gearing up for the most prestigious event in the fashion calendar, the Costume Institute Ball. Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller and Jennifer Lawrence are all expected to turn out, as is Kim Kardashian, who has reportedly had her ban from the event lifted by her boyfriend Kanye West’s pal Anna Wintour. This year’s theme, however, is punk, which seems to be posing a problem for the glamorous female attendees.
Of course; over all we don’t see the point; why all these big names in Hollywood instead of gearing up to sort the poverty in the world; they spend thousands of their money to join these kind of events?
Love is clearly in the air for Pippa Middleton, with her latest contribution to the supermarket food magazine Waitrose Kitchen sharing the key to a ‹romantic picnic for two›. The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister provides tips for the perfect Provencal picnic as part of her ‹Friday Night Feast› column, praising the perks of «whisk[ing] away someone special for an evening of gazing and grazing». Her menu includes delights such as peach and vanilla fizz, a fig and goat’s cheese fougasse – a type of bread associated with Provence – smoked chicken and melon salad and strawberry and lavender cheesecake jars.
The luxury picnic doesn’t come cheap, with an estimated price tag of £60 according to a spokesman for Waitrose. As Pippa and her handsome boyfriend Niko Jackson have been pictured together more and more recently, it’s no wonder she has romantic getaways on her mind .
